Yesterday, firm partner Shawn Wanta presented a CLE through the Minnesota State Bar Association alongside Zaylore Stout of Zaylore Stout & Associates, LLC and Gina Janeiro of Jackson Lewis P.C. Titled “Who’s the Boss? The ever-shifting landscape of Independent Contractors, Misclassification and Joint Employers”, the panelists discussed the evolving laws regarding independent contractor status, misclassification, and joint employer status. The panelists spoke on the changes of law to date and how to anticipate changes in the new administration.
